We proudly do business in our community, with many local companies including the Black Knight Inn, Red Deer College, Frontier Bus Lines, Gaetz Memorial United Church, St. Luke's Anglican Church, the Prolific Group, Servus Credit Union, First Christian Reformed Church, New Life Fellowship Church, Collins Barrow Chartered Accounts, and others!

We are good for the city - people and corporations want to move to a city that offers access to first-rate culture, recreation and education.

We support local organizations through ticket donations to their fundraisers, such as CAWES, Red Deer Rotary, Relay for Life, and various school fundraisers. We help fund other music programs through our Raffle partnerships with local groups such as the Red Deer Royals and Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School

We give to our community through our Education and Outreach programming, which is free, or very low cost. You can help us to continue to provide these wonderful opportunities to the children of central Alberta.

We even provide musicians to perform the National Anthem at Red Deer Rebels games throughout the hockey season, and display works of local artists and groups in the lobby at our Main Series concerts!

The RDSO relies on donations to support a healthy contribution of arts and culture through not only musical concerts but also a rich variety of musical, educational and community outreach programs. Fall Gala

Thank you to all of our Fall Gala Supporters! On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and musicians of the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra, please accept our sincere gratitude for your support of our major fundraising event, our Silver Anniversary Fall Gala which took place on September 15, 2011 at the Black Knight Inn.

The RDSO Endowment Fund

The Red Deer Symphony Orchestra Legacy Endowment Fund is a pool of money that is permanently invested – only the income/interest is ever spent. Established in 1992 with an initial $5,000 grant from the Red Deer and District Community Foundation, this fund serves the RDSO in a variety of ways. And remember, anyone can donate to the Fund!

All disbursements from this fund are returned to the RDSO annually and will be included as general operating funds, with a focus on ensuring the finest quality of symphonic music for central Alberta by attracting high caliber, professional musicians and supporting various community outreach programs. Variability from both government grant programs and private sponsorship can have a huge annual impact on the RDSO. The RDSO Legacy Endowment Fund can help stabilize these fluctuations in revenue over the long term.
