Take a trip to the Paris Conservatory with us, as we celebrate twentieth-century French music! A perfect blend of old and new, this music is known for its clarity, colour, and charm. Alongside Poulenc's light-hearted Suite française, and Milhaud's jazz-inspired La création du monde, this concert will feature virtuosic saxophonist Chee Meng Low in Ibert's Concertino da Camera. In a special celebration of International Women's Day, RDSO is featuring some of the inspiring women that have made their mark on the Classical music scene. Be inspired by award-winning Canadian composer Jocelyn Morlock's "Solace," and "Suite for Strings" by British composer, suffragette, and general difference-maker Ethel Smyth. RDSO will also be joined by one of Red Deer’s own talented young women in a performance of a virtuosic masterpiece. Come help us celebrate some amazing women!

Reserve your seat today for the exciting live premiere of a truly unique musical storytelling experience created by RDSO's own Samantha Whelan Kotkas. Inspired by the land, water and sky and filmed against the backdrop of Alberta's beautiful landscapes, Wandering With Wonder uses the arts to reconnect people with nature.

With live orchestral accompaniment composed by RDSO's own Claude Lapalme and TD Grand Jazz Award winning composer & pianist Chris Andrew, this production will be a season finale to remember!
